TCN Attends Georgia Election Board Meeting

Veterans from The Chamberlain Network attended the Georgia State Board of Election meeting on Friday, September 20 to join like-minded civil society organizations for the opportunity to provide public comment, opposing a set of approved rules concerning election certification and proposed rules for hand counting ballots.

“These rules are not addressing real issues in Georgia’s elections — which we know are secure — they are politically motivated to make it harder to vote, and to create chaos and mistrust.” said Chris Purdy, founder of the Chamberlain Network. “I have deep concerns about the effects this confusion will have on my fellow veterans serving as poll workers, those that struggle with disabilities or PTSD who already find it difficult to vote, and to my fellow Georgian's who deserve a voting process that is fair, efficient, and accessible.”
