Press Release: Veterans Condemn Former President Trump’s Lies About Our Elections

Atlanta, G.A. — The Chamberlain Network condemns former President Trump’s baseless attacks on the integrity of our elections during today’s debate. These lies threaten our democratic institutions, as they undermine trust in our electoral process and fuel political violence.

As veterans, we know that our nation’s strength comes from the people’s confidence and participation in free and fair elections. As Americans, we must hold firm to the values that make us strong: the freedom to vote, the rule of law, and the peaceful transfer of power.

“Former President Trump’s lies are part of an intentional pattern designed to weaken our institutions and disregard the will of the American people,” said Chris Purdy, CEO and Founder of The Chamberlain Network, “Our elections are secure. Thousands of election officials, many of whom are veterans, work hard to verify results through rigorous checks and balances, ensuring that every legal vote is counted and certified according to law.”

The American election system has been tested time and time again—through war, civil strife, and economic hardship. It has held strong because Americans from every walk of life have put their political differences aside to make it work for the greater good. It will withstand this moment as well.

We choose hope and action instead of giving in to fear and division. Every American should participate in our elections, learn how our elections are safeguarded, and use their voice to create a better country. Our future won’t be realized by breaking what works but by building something better.

The Chamberlain Network is committed to ensuring that every American’s voice is heard, every vote is counted, and the will of the people prevails. Our democracy is strong because of the millions who participate in it, and we will proudly defend the integrity of our free and fair election system.
