The Chamberlain Network Receives Generous Grant Award from the Democracy Communications Collaborative (DCC)
Atlanta, GA – The Chamberlain Network is pleased to announce it has been awarded a significant general operating grant from the Democracy Communications Collaborative (DCC). Funding will be used to underwrite The Chamberlain Network’s mission – mobilizing and empowering veterans to protect democracy. In the coming year, this support will allow us to:
Invest in local veteran communities through Chamberlain Network Community Hubs
Launch campaigns to respond to emergent local and national issues
Provide civic education through ongoing national training and communications skills-building workshops
Build coalitions of veterans and civil society groups at the individual and organizational levels
Grow expertise by convening veterans in D.C. annually for a pro-democracy summit
“We’re grateful for the support and partnership of the DCC,” said Chris Purdy, CEO of The Chamberlain Network. “Veterans want to continue serving their country, and one of the most impactful ways to do that is by leading in their communities. The DCC helps connect those local efforts to national challenges, equipping veterans with the tools, research, and networks to make a real difference. With this support, The Chamberlain Network is strengthening trust in our democratic institutions at a time when that trust is more critical than ever.”
